I tend to keep to Myspace these days (GAG- I know) and I tend to avoid writing in journals completely...

However...

Here is a brief update in slightly chronological order (2008.)

On-going: My car hates me as much as I hate it.

January: Max and I began searching for houses.

February:
- Max and I signed a lease on a quaint little 50's cookie-cutter house in his grandmother's neighborhood. Three bedrooms. Huge yard.

- Kent turned eight and got accepted to attend St. George's Camp this summer.


March:
- We finally moved into the house. We are staying in separate bedrooms until we're married. Kent's room is Star Wars themed, as is the rest of his brain. I now officially live in Sandston, Virginia which is about fifteen minutes from downtown Richmond.

- I turned twenty-eight.

- Kent started practicing for the Mechanicsville Little League AA Cardinals.

- Max gave me my engagement ring... a Fleur - de - lis to match his tattoo.

April:
- I began plans for a garden as we settled into our new home.

-Kent's team was undefeated!

May: The wedding planning officially began!

- I got my garden planted... gosh! So much squash!

- Kent's team stopped being undefeated in a big way.

- We made some new friends of the grown-up variety.

- We all got library cards!

June: Kent got an award for being on the Scholar Roll all year. Straight A's, baby!

- I bought my wedding dress! Ooo!

- Kent attended both a baseball camp and St. George's Camp in Orkney Springs, VA.

- Kent had blue hair for a weekend, and still has red hair (although it started off as bright red and is currently a light strawberry blond.)

- Max and I have been going to Colonial Downs, and I've been learning to read the Racing Form.

- Currently we're working on wedding invitations, Priest-arrangements, and not killing my mother.


I'm getting married in September!!!!!!!! FUCK YEAH!
